I am a proud member of Lincoln, which has a fledgling cycling club in its own right - almost a third of the thirty or so entrants in this year's Cuppers cycling competition were representing Lincoln!

Cycling & Triathlon

I'm a second year mathematics DPhil student and cyclist in my spare time. I previously completed an undergraduate degree and Masters at Oxford in mathematics. In my six(!) years at Oxford, I've achieved five half blues (two in cycling and three in triathlon) and was part of the Oxford squad which achieved a bronze medal in the BUCS time trial (cycling) earlier this year.

I am a proud member of Lincoln, which has a fledgling cycling club in its own right - almost a third of the thirty or so entrants in this year's Cuppers cycling competition were representing Lincoln! Further, I am extremely grateful for the financial support which the College provides. Cycling is by no means the cheapest sport and also carries with it a high risk of injury; the College's support was crucial in ensuring I was able to get back on my feet as soon as possible when I broke my wrist in a cycling accident last October.

It is my aim to achieve a full Blue before I leave Oxford. I will be targeting the National 10 mile time trial championships and the BUCS track cycling events later on this year to hopefully meet the criteria.
