I have benefitted greatly from College funding throughout my time here whether this has been from free weekly singing lessons as a Choral Scholar, or running Entz with a budget that allowed us to ensure there was always a JCR event coming up for everyone to enjoy.

This year I was also granted money from both the Annual Fund and Elman Poole Fund which allowed me to organize the first musical to take place at Lincoln. With the development of the New Garden Building at Lincoln providing us with a performance space there really was no excuse not to put on a production. The funding allowed us to keep it Lincoln-only, giving every student an opportunity to get involved who wanted to without competing with our University-wide peers. It also allowed us to put on the show for free so that everyone who was not performing could benefit by coming along to watch.  The Musical was a wonderful opportunity for us Lincolnites to simultaneously take ourselves a little less seriously while once again achieving something of a high standard.
